Hi! My name is Mark but all my friends call me Marko. I currently live in Dubai like a true digital nomad. I am 36 years old and counting (I still can't believe it myself lol) and I love aviation and technology. I have been teaching English to immigrants and students since I was 18 and most of them were starters who wanted to learn the basics. As for higher levels of English proficiency, I have more than 5 years of experience helping English learners prepare for IELTS (and recently PTE). My teaching method depends heavily on the student. I usually teach the fundamental rules of grammar and then engage in conversations with the students, where they can hear me use the same rules and are forced to produce language using the same rules. As for IELTS and PTE participants, I first teach the tests and then start troubleshooting all the problems that keep the participants at low band scores.
